Hi, I'm Matt
Perfect PC is me - a lifelong gamer and hardware nerd building custom rigs out of Whenuapai, Auckland. I've been gaming on PCs for over 30 years, and after almost a decade in the NZ Army I turned what I'm most passionate about into the job: PC gaming & hardware.
Most prebuilts ship with factory settings that run hot and leave performance on the table. I dial in every rig by hand - CPU clocks, voltages, RAM timings - so you get the most FPS your hardware can give, with the temps to match. And if a repair isn't worth your money, I'll tell you straight.

Perfect PC at a glance

- 9 Kennedys Road, Whenuapai, West Auckland, by appointment. Handy to Hobsonville, West Harbour, Westgate, Massey, Kumeu, Riverhead and the North Shore, with courier anywhere in New Zealand.

- Monday to Saturday, 9am to 6pm. Bookings are essential, so get in touch or call 021 802 283 first.
- Warranty
- New builds come with a 12-month return-to-base warranty on the build, and many components carry manufacturer warranties of up to 5 years. Refurbished PCs carry 6 months.
- Lead times
- Listed builds are ready to pick up in 1 to 3 business days, or delivered by courier within New Zealand in 3 to 5 business days.
- Repairs & tuning
- Diagnostics and repair, performance tuning, full clean and tune, and laptop servicing, in Whenuapai or remotely anywhere in NZ. See PC repairs and service pricing.

Frequently asked questions
Can you build a custom gaming PC to my budget?
Yes. Start with a free hardware consultation: tell me the games you play, the resolution and frame rate you want, and your budget. I'll spec the best price-to-performance build for it, with an upgrade path for later, and give you a fixed quote once we've agreed on parts.
What makes a Perfect PC different from a store-bought prebuilt?
Most prebuilts ship on factory settings that over-volt and run hot. Every Perfect PC is tuned by hand in the BIOS (CPU clocks, voltages, RAM timings and fan curves) for the most FPS your parts can give at lower temperatures, then stress tested and game tested before it goes out.
Do you repair PCs and laptops?
Yes. In-store diagnostics and repair in Whenuapai tracks down crashes, boot failures, overheating and other hard-to-find faults, and remote diagnostics covers the rest of NZ. If a repair isn't worth your money, I'll tell you straight and give you honest options. More about PC repairs.
Can I bring my own parts?
Yes. The Build, Install, Test & Tune service assembles your parts with full cable management, installs Windows and drivers, applies a performance tune and stress tests the finished system.
Do you deliver outside Auckland?
Yes. PCs are couriered anywhere in New Zealand, and performance tuning and diagnostics can be done remotely over AnyDesk.
